Job Description
Fedics is looking for a professional Waiter or Waitress to take orders and provide food and beverages to guests. This position requires patience, charisma, and tenacity.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Customers must be greeted and escorted to their tables.
- When asked, present the menu and provide specific information (for example, about amounts, ingredients, or potential food allergies).
- Set up linens, silverware, and glasses on the tables.
- Inform customers about the offers for the day.
- On request, provide menu recommendations.
- When applicable, upsell additional products.
- Take precise food and beverage orders.
- Inform the kitchen staff of the order specifics.
- Serve food and beverage orders
- Check the cleanliness and appearance of dishes and kitchenware, and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean eating space by arranging table settings.
- Checks are delivered and bill payments are collected.
- Bring filthy dishes, glasses, and cutlery to the kitchen to be cleaned.
- Meet with restaurant personnel to go over daily specials, menu revisions, and service requirements for reservations (e.g., parties).
- Comply with all applicable health department regulations.
- Give guests exceptional customer service.
Skills and Competencies
- Work experience as a Waiter or Waitress is required.
