Duties
- Offer cleaning services.Clear out all of the designated places. Clean all windows, walls, bins, sinks, lockers, and pans. Sweep and polish all floors in the Institution’s specified locations. Clean all of the office’s desks, chairs, and furniture. Vacuum the carpeted areas as needed. Routine general work and compliance services are provided. Every day, open the windows for hygiene and infection control. Dusting with damp and dry materials. Empty all appropriate trash cans across the facility. Assess and update the toilet cleaning check list on a regular basis to ensure that it meets hygienic standards. In the cleaning environment, request and replace toilet paper/towels and dangerous risks.Remove rubbish from offices to the disposal place. Offer regular maintenance services. Clean and maintain your cleaning equipment. Store and protect cleaning supplies and equipment. Report any electrical or mechanical problems with cleaning machines and any connected equipment. Requisition and restock cleaning supplies as needed. Prepare tea and refreshments for the OVG during stakeholder meetings.
Requirements
- Grade 10.
- Job-related work experience: 5 years’ experience in general office cleaning
- Job-related knowledge: Cleaning and maintenance of hygiene.
Skills
- Possess excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and interrelationship skills.
- Cleaning and maintenance in general. Other criteria include the ability to work shifts. Be able to rotate when necessary. Sincere, dependable, and sanitary. Pose physical strength and the ability to deal with the physical demands of the profession.
