Key Responsibilities
The incumbent will be responsible for working as a Cashier at Box Office Sales/Catering Sales or Collections, Cinema Assistant, Waiter, Poppers, or any other cinema function as requested by a supervisor.
Duties
- Ensure presentation standards are followed (age restrictions displayed, synopsis file updated, posters are neat and updated, F&B and Products displays, disclaimers updated and visible).
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Ster-Kinekor’s products and promotional/marketing activities to enable upselling to our guests.
- When necessary, assist in shift preparation in the area.
- Manage the quality and integrity of Ster-Kinekor products to ensure that guest experiences are not compromised.
- Must always be presentable.
- Prepare popcorn, slush, etc. in accordance with quality standards established and notify of any deviations from quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, all kitchen equipment, and surrounding areas, including counter areas.
- Ensure that storerooms are within established standards and that fumigation occurs as needed. Ensure that prepared products are properly sealed, packaged, and stored.
- Ensure that all H&S reports are submitted in accordance with the required schedules.
Requirements
• Grade 12 /Matric
• 0 – 1 years of work experience in a similar role
• MS Office Suite (Basic)
• VISTA advantageous
