Job description
The following position has become available for a General Worker, based in Kempton Park. To choose goods and make up client orders as per customer invoice and prepare same for shipment as per customer specifications, as well as assisting with cleaning of facilities.
Responsibilities
- Picks products and makes up orders as per customer order and transfers them to the holding area for checking.
- Ensures that correct seed reference numbers are picked and report all incorrect reference numbers to the Stock Controller.
- Ensures that all items picked are in a clean and saleable condition and meet laid down quality standards with regard to packaging, labelling, outer appearance and neatness.
- Assists with the bi-annual as well as ad hoc stock counts/checks as per Stock Controller direction.
- Assists coworkers with task execution after their own obligations have been finished.
- Ensures that the work area(s) are always neat, tidy, organised, and clean.
