The role’s aim is to provide training and growth opportunities in order to obtain the Blasting Certificate and appropriate Trade Certificates.

Core Accountabilities
- Complete the learnership program successfully.
- Obtain a blasting certificate and pass a trade test in accordance with the standards of the chosen field of training
- Demonstrate commitment to South32 Values and Care Strategy
- Demonstrate basic knowledge of Mine Safety requirements.
Requirements
Serious candidates will have:
- Learner Miners must have Grade 12
- Apprentices: Grade 12 and N2 with relevant studies for Diesel Mechanics, Fitters, Boilermakers, Electricians, and other trades.
- A Public Driver’s License will be useful.
- Mining experience is preferred.
- This training and development opportunity is offered to JTG community members
- Proof of residence is required.
