The University is searching for energetic individuals that take pride in the cleanliness and will be in charge of all general cleaning duties as well as any other related functions.
He/she will report to the Campus Cleaning Head of Department (HOD) and must meet the requirements, skills, and competencies, and be responsible for the key performance areas indicated below.
Key Performance Areas
- Responsible for the cleaning of assigned areas
- Ensure that all trash is removed from designated sites.
- Clean kitchens, refrigerators, and staff dining areas as assigned
- Clean the walls, windows, and stairwells.
- Disinfect and clean the kitchen, toilet, and bathroom fixtures.
- Help in other areas as needed, and respond to all reasonable requests from management.
- Ensure that SHE policies and procedures are followed.
- Further duties as assigned by the Line Manager
- Contribute to SMU’s overall growth and actively improve institutional culture.
Requirements
- Standard 8/Grade 10
- At least two (2) years of cleaning experience are required.
- Free from skin allergies to detergents, etc.
- Knowledge and experience with cleaning equipment, chemicals, and substances
