About the learnership
Sanlam Corporate provides a one-of-a-kind chance for young, eager, and energetic people from the selected categories to receive practical job experience in a corporate setting while earning a national certificate. Our learnership is part of our young talent strategy and feeds directly into our YEP (Youth Empowerment Programme) to help us build a talent pipeline in our organization. Successful and high-performing learners are kept permanently for junior-level employment after completing the learnership through a tailored growth journey.
The YEP Learnership offers:
- A 12-month contract
- A monthly stipend and financial assistance for studies
- A national qualification (Certificate in Wealth Management, NQF level 4)
- On-the-job training and assessment
- Continuous coaching and mentoring
- A portfolio of work and learning evidence
What will you do?
- Acquire knowledge of company products, services, and operational processes and systems
- Attend classroom-based lessons
- Complete practical onsite training
- Assemble a Portfolio of Evidence to submit to InSeta
- Fill out logbooks for workplace-based learning
- Pass and complete the required level in formative and summative assessments
Minimum Requirements
- Must be a South African citizen
- Must not be currently employed
- Must be between the ages of 18 and 35
- Must have passed Grade 12 Mathematics / Mathematics Literacy / Accounting and English with a minimum of 50%
- Have a strong command of the English language (read, write, and speak fluently)
- Be willing to commit to the 12-month program, which includes a comprehensive qualification
- Have a clean criminal and credit history
- Have reliable transportation
