Purpose of the Job
Receive and efficiently direct SACAA clients to the appropriate service area.
Front line
- To greet, direct, and assist SACAA and its clients in obtaining service by providing a polite and efficient front-line service.
Administrative Duties
- Receiving and documenting any papers, mail, and items delivered to the reception area.
- Ensure that all documents received is despatched on a daily basis using standard procedures.
- Examine and document any documentation that has not been collected for action within 24 hours and report it to the Manager: Customer Relationship Management for further action.
Emergency and Security Protocols
- In accordance with the OHS Act and security regulations, notify appropriate staff of emergency/crisis circumstances or odd behavior or condition of customers.
Training of Entry level Client Services Officers
- Train entry-level front-line receptionists so that they can perform all parts of their key performance areas.
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Post Matric Certificate in Customer Relationship Management / Public Relations / Communications / Frontline
Experience
- 2-5 Years in Client Services or Receptionist experience
