Job Description
Gauteng Central Services is looking for a hard-working individual to implement a high standard of cleanliness for our office and premises. The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, and wiping surfaces in their workplace, including restrooms and kitchens.
- Refilling and refilling cleaning supplies (hand soap, toilet paper, paper towels).
- Washing dishes, kitchen napkins, floor rags, and dusters.
- Maintaining cleaning products and obtaining fresh supplies as needed.
- Taking away rubbish and disposing of it in authorized areas.
- Cleaning refrigerators, microwaves, kettles, water coolers, and other kitchen equipment.
- Assist with ad hoc duties as required.
Requirements
- Matric or equivalent
- 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of acceptable cleaning practices
- Knowledge of standard cleaning chemicals
- Basic knowledge of general hygiene practices

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to be a team player.
- Flexibility and ease of adaptation to a changing environment.
- The ability to comply with health and safety regulations Must be Reliable, trustworthy, and honest.
