Job Description
Rand Water is looking for an individual who will maintain good housekeeping of engine rooms, control rooms, battery rooms, bathrooms, and switchgear room flooring clean. To report any unsafe acts or working circumstances to his or her Shift Supervisor.
Duties
- Cleaning the engine room, electric pumps, flooring, control rooms, and basements.
- Assist the Senior Process Controller with the loading and unloading of Clorine Cylinders as requested by the laboratory and the Senior Process Controller.
- Assist Senior Process Controller Assisting with Ammonia Tanker Offloading
- Water sample bottle crates are loaded and unloaded into and out of the shift change vehicle.

Requirements
- Grade 12 with Math and Science
- Related cleaning experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of water purification exposure will be advantageous.
- Blue Drop prerequisites: Water Treatment Learnership will be advantageous.
