Main Purpose

To manage a Fitment Centre’s front desk by offering professional operational support and general business consultation to all customers and personnel, while adhering to corporate identity, operating standards, and business processes and procedures. To guarantee that all internal sales are handled and the appropriate funds are collected.

To ensure that the highest level of PG Glass service center requirements are met when installing automotive glass. These standards include the requirements for Trainee or Temporary Service Technician, Level 1 Service Technician, and Level 2 Service Technician.

To provide the greatest degree of chip mending to external and internal customers by providing excellent workmanship, on-time delivery, and proper orders. To be courteous, cheerful, and helpful at all times, and to keep the corporate car in first-rate roadworthy condition.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and follow up on all counter sales (face-to-face and telephonic) by providing relevant advise to clients in a professional manner to ensure all sales are closed, budgets and Net Promoter Scores (NPS) targets are met, and the business grows.
  • Handle claim processing accurately and swiftly by consulting with the customer on the exact excess amount and collecting payment to ensure that daily key performance targets are met and financial losses to the business are avoided.
  • Ensure that when doing administration, the best administrative procedures are always followed in order to ensure stock control and ordering processes are followed and clients get the ultimate minimum effort experience.
  • Use the Service Centre’s scheduling system to maximize Fitter productivity in order to maintain the targeted jobs per fit per day, ensuring the Fitment Centre is working at maximum capacity and customer expectations are managed.
  • Order goods accurately according to work schedules and buy-out procedures to guarantee that there are no delays in providing services to clients and that the highest standard is maintained.
  • Adhere to and comply with any other reasonable work expectations made by PG Glass Management.
  • Ensure the highest level of quality customer service to external and internal clients through quality craftsmanship, on-time deliveries, and the completion and delivery of proper orders.
  • Make an effort to always be kind, friendly, and helpful to customers and coworkers.
  • Develop the habit of excellence in order to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Always wear clean, presentable, modern corporate attire.

Requirements

  • Grade 12/Matric
  • TVET Qualification (Advantageous)
