We are looking for a proactive and organized office assistant to join our client’s team in Groenkloof.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with real estate agents, sellers, and buyers to improve communication and maintain active pipelines.
  • Maintain professional and polished interactions with rich and professional people over the phone and via email.
  • Assist with appointment scheduling and communication management to support sales operations.
  • Collaborate with teammates to ensure smooth coordination and follow-up on client inquiries.
  • Meet and serve tourists in a professional and polite manner.
  • Check stock and order additional supplies as needed to keep office supplies inventory current.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and data.
  • Basic bookkeeping duties include invoicing and petty cash management.
  • Ensure that office equipment is properly maintained and serviced.
  • Help with general administrative chores as assigned by office management.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 or equivalent; extra experience as an Office Assistant or Secretary is preferred.
  • Proven experience (2+ years) as an Office Assistant, Receptionist, or Administrative Assistant.
  • Excellent oral and written communication abilities in English.
  • Professional demeanor and great presentation skills.
  • Ability to efficiently communicate with real estate brokers, sellers, and buyers in order to maintain active pipelines.
  • Strong phone etiquette and interpersonal skills required to interact successfully with rich and professional clients.
  • Prior experience working with clients or in the real estate sector is desirable.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize projects and work under minimum supervision.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with office equipment (such as printers and fax machines).
