  • Tele-prospectors must engage clients over the phone, collect data, and uncover needs and opportunities. 
  • This function collaborates with the Financial Advisor to get the desired result. 
  • Tele-prospectors create qualified leads for their panel of Financial Advisors.
  • This is a non-advice-giving function.
  • Six-month traineeship.
  • Appointed on a 6-month fixed-term contract, subject to performance.
  • Depending on performance, you may be appointed as an Academy Adviser in the New Entrant model.

Role overview

The function requires incumbents to make scripted outbound calls to new prospects and existing clients with the goal of referring leads to early-tenured Academy Financial Advisers for lead conversions in order to boost their productivity levels.

The job collaborates closely with Academy Advisers to guarantee a consistent flow of viable leads are received and transformed into real business that the Academy Adviser maintains.

Furthermore, the function provides administrative support to higher-level New Entrant Financial Advisers, such as setting up annual reviews, raising quotes, pulling Astute data in preparation for the annual review engagement, or gathering insights from new customers. Any other administration associated with the business filing process.

The post could potentially give administrative support to an Established Financial Adviser who is working with an early-tenured Academy Adviser. However, there should be a clear mentor/mentee connection between the EFA and the Academy Adviser, with a commission split when it is discovered that the Academy Adviser assists with working the dormant clients in the EFA’s firm (80/20).

Key Result Areas

  • Receiving leads for ConnexOne and other local or regional initiatives.
  • Make at least 35 automated calls from ConnexOne to prospects (cold, orphaned, or existing clients) per day.
  • Load the prospect into Sparkfolios and notify Academy Adviser about the referral.
  • Make a brochure phone call. Make calls for introductions and reviews.
  • Arrange for the Academy Adviser to attend introduction/review meetings.
  • Contact and secure annual review calls for New Entrant Advisers with longer tenure.
  • Raise Xplan quotes and collect client information from Astute for better results.
  • tenured New Entrants or Established Financial Advisers.
  • For higher tenured New Entrant Advisers, provide any extra administrative support relating to the company application process.
  • Provide any further administrative assistance relating to the business filing procedure to Established Financial Advisers who have early tenured Academy Advisers assigned to them.

Requirements

  • Matric (Mathematics and English Literacy)
  • You must be unemployed. South African nationals
  • between the ages of 18 and 27
  • You must live in the Western Cape.
  • Clear credit history
  • No criminal record
  • Tech-Savvy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Acceptable in the face of rejection and objections
