Applications for the Mamelodi Sundowns Live Limitless Youth Internship Program were received in record numbers yesterday.
The club will open its doors to young individuals between 18 and 34 during the five month Internship Program, which is organized in collaboration with Student Village (Youth and Student Marketing Agency). The interns will receive vital job experience and improve their distinctive soft talents at the Champions’ House.
From August selected interns will have the opportunity to work in various departments at Mamelodi Sundowns as well as engage in courses that will train and educate them in the workplace.
The club will provide five internship opportunities in the following fields:
- TikTok content creator
- Photography
- Production Video Editor
- Journalist/Writer
- Marketing Activation
- Supporter Mobilisation
Teko Modise, Mamelodi Sundowns’ Club Ambassador, expressed his delight at the project’s debut, saying, “The fact that Sundowns is opening their doors to the young ones to come in as interns are huge.” This is a unique opportunity to learn what it takes for the champions to be successful both on and off the field, as few people get to witness that side of the club.”
