Job Description
IQbusiness has been contracted to assist Microsoft South Africa in recruiting applicants for its Learnership for PWD program, which begins on August 1, 2023.
This is a 12-month learning opportunity. Work experience and other training courses are included in the learnership. This learnership requires the recruitment of 9 disabled learners.
The learners will be assigned to the specific business units aligned to their skills and competency in the organization namely:
- Marketing (1x)
- Human Resources (1 x)
- Enterprise & Supplier Development (2 x)
- Account Management (2 x)
- Data Centre (2 x)
- Business Management (1x)

Successful candidates must be between the ages of 18 and 35 and hold one of the following degrees:
Degrees applicable:
- STEM or a similar field
- BA Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or a related field
- BA Human Resources, Law, Business, Psychology, or a related field.
- Intermediate expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is preferred.
For the term of the learnership, a stipend (pay) will be provided.
Successful candidates will receive a laptop computer and mobile data.
When the learnership begins, full onboarding will be provided.
As part of the learnership, various training courses will be provided, including Project Management NQF 4.
Microsoft SA is a 50/50 hybrid and in-office.
Monthly Formal training sessions: 2 to 3 days each week from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for 10 months
Microsoft is in Bryanston, and there is parking, a Gautrain transit station, a taxi rank, and a bus stop within walking distance.
