Job Description
Intercare Corporate Services, based in Menlyn, Pretoria, is looking to hire a housekeeper.
Coordinate and facilitate all housekeeping tasks within Corporate Services, including cleaning boardrooms, lunchrooms, halls, and offices. The incumbent will be required to help with reception responsibilities as needed to meet operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that the public and professional refreshment rooms function properly and to the acceptable standard.
- Ensure that the kitchen and refrigerators are clean and well-kept.
- Manage the tableware, cutlery, and other supplies for staff.
- Assist with the purchasing and ordering of various items, drinks, and cleaning supplies for the Corporate Office.
- Assist with the management of hygiene paper and consumables, and make ordering easier.
- Provide polite, effective service to guests in the Corporate Office in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Ensure that your communication with visitors is always professional and efficient.
- Where necessary, escalate any concerns to the relevant line management.
- Assist with photocopying, filing, administrative, and consumables management tasks as per corporate procedures and policies.
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Previous cleaning experience will be beneficial.
- Previous experience in a customer-oriented service setting will be beneficial.
- Must have the physical power and stamina to complete jobs that require constant walking, standing, moving objects, and climbing small ladders.
Computer proficiency (MS Office)
