Job Description
We are looking for young, energetic, and passionate individuals to participate in a 12-month Wholesale & Retail SETA-funded Learnership. These individuals will play an interesting role in furthering their careers at the JD Group (HiFi Corporation).
We provide excellent opportunities for candidates to enter the workforce. The primary purpose of this program is to create individuals who will contribute their full potential to the organization.
The chosen candidates will receive experience in several areas of wholesale and retail.
We provide Learnerships in the Retail Sector across all nine provinces.
Aspects to be covered throughout the Learnership in Store (12 Months):
- Help customers on the shop floor (customer service).
- Marketing, merchandising, and maintaining displays
- English Language Fundamentals
Math Fundamentals - Recording transactions and processing payments through the POS system
- Understanding the Wholesale and Retail Environment
- Open new accounts.
- Maintaining and managing stock losses
The company is searching for the following characteristics:

- Demonstrating a willingness to learn and solve problems.

- Matric or equivalent.
- Become a South African citizen with no criminal record.
