Job Description

A role as an Administrative Clerk to assist with numerous administrative chores. This role will be responsible for assisting creditors, loadsheets, payments, diesel management, and drivers in the Fleet and Logistics department.

Requirements

  • A grade 12 diploma or a National Senior Certificate is necessary.
  • At least two years of administrative experience is necessary, with experience in Debtors and Creditors preferred.
  • Accounting or Pastel experience is preferred.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent literacy and numerical skills, as well as accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Task and deadline-oriented, having strong planning, organizing, prioritization, and time management abilities.
  • Capability to perform reconciliations.
  • Ability to maintain a constant and dependable work level while acting in the best interests of the firm.
  • Microsoft Office and advanced Excel skills are required.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Various purchasing orders are being processed.
  • Payment preparation, including all relevant papers, during and at month end.
  • All diesel stock is ordered, controlled, booked, and recorded.
  • Organizing drivers’ PPE, PDP funds, and license.
  • Taking care of the load sheets for the live birds.
  • Performing reconciliations of orders, invoices, remittances, and payments.
  • Communication with suppliers about statements, bills, and orders placed.
  • General office administration, such as filing and housekeeping, as well as any other chores assigned by the Fleet and Logistics Manager.
