Job Description
We encourage appropriately qualified applicants to apply for the Assistant Operator X9 post in Manufacturing. The role will report to the EPU manager and is headquartered in Dunnottar.
Job Purpose
The role’s aim is to assemble stainless steel components, sub-assemblies, and main assemblies in accordance with established work procedures and instructions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support quality initiatives.
- Support team leaders and craftspeople.
- Maintain the 5S condition of the work zone.
- Maintain department safety requirements and improve costs through continuous improvement programs.
- Maintain equipment standards (using TPM schedules).
- Follow the safety procedures.
Requirements
- Grade 12 or N3 with Math and Physical Science.
- Prior experience in manufacturing is preferred.
- Experience in the stainless steel business would be beneficial.
