MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
We are searching for a December casual to give excellent customer service and assistance throughout the hectic holiday season. This contract will run from November 1, 2023 to January 31, 2024.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by providing great sales service.
- Maintain high standards of store cleanliness and attractive merchandising.
- Keep your store fully supplied.
- Determine the requirements and desires of your customers.
- Items that meet the needs of the customer should be recommended and shown.
- Customers should be greeted.
- Control point-of-sale procedures
- Participate actively in the receipt of fresh shipments
- Keep up with product information.
- Describe product characteristics and benefits precisely.
- Obey all company policies and procedures.
SKILLS AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
- Grade 12
- Computer literacy
- Higher education (Advantageous)
- 1 – 2 years work experience preferably in retail environment
- Knowledge of retail practices
- Demonstrated ability to perform customer service duties.
- Leadership skills
