Safair Operations, doing business as FlySafair, has an opening for a Warehouse Assistants at our headquarters in Bonaero Park. The chosen candidate will report to the Warehouse Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Transport inventory and materials between sites.
  • Prepare the inventory for delivery;
  • Sort, arrange, and store inventory in the correct place.
  • Label and package products accurately;
  • Inform supervisors of any damaged or missing inventory.
  • Stack and organize enormous quantities of goods;
  • Update inventory processing records and documentation;
  • directing and carrying out normal warehouse cleaning duties
  • Inventory control should be monitored and managed.
  • Performing warehouse inventory controls and maintaining high-quality standards for audits
  • Handle delicate and sensitive items with extreme caution;
  • Handle and operate tools and accessories required for warehouse maintenance and management;
  • Maintain quality service standards while adhering to processes, rules, and regulations.
  • Perform daily cycle counts and collaborate with the inventory clerk to address any inconsistencies.
  • Ensure that the dispatch area is audit-ready at all times.
  • Assist with any ad hoc warehouse duties.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Grade 12;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Feedback to internal and external customers on a daily basis.
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) proficient.
  • Excellent administrative abilities.
  • Can-do mentality with a solution-driven approach to meeting deadlines;
  • Capability to deliver daily feedback to internal and external consumers
  • The ability to follow procedures and standards at all times
  • Ability to work with less supervision
  • Ensuring that the dispatch area is audit-ready at all times.
  • Warehouse training (optional)
  • SAM AMO system (optional).
