Job Description

Duties

  • Execute the Enaex Explosives customer service strategy, ensuring that customer orders are delivered on schedule, at the correct location, and safely.
  • Ensuring that the final product is managed responsibly in accordance with the Chief Inspector of Explosives’ responsibilities under Chapter 6 of the Explosives Act. Ensure timely delivery execution.
  • Deliveries are executed safely.
  • Help customers offload the vehicle.
  • Complete the offloading coordination.
  • Ensure vehicle compliance.
  • Complete a comprehensive vehicle inspection sheet before leaving Magazines (daily).
  • Execute the Proof of Delivery.
  • Ensure that the evidence of delivery is returned to the Administration office for customer invoicing.
  • Responsible for production planning.
  • Make sure there are no loading issues.
  • Ensure Three personnel performed a three-way check of delivery notes, comparing the delivery note to the freight summary, the client order, and the available stock.
  • Check the general appearance of the delivery notes.
  • Ensure that the entire order arrives on time.
  • Manage employee attendance.
  • Manage overtime so that it does not exceed the prescribed number of hours.
  • Make safety a priority in all day-to-day activities.
  • Vegetation management in the magazine area.

Requirements

  • Grade 12
  • Driver’s Licence CODE EC
  • The professional driving permit code is “D”
  • A minimum of two years’ experience driving an explosives vehicle
  • Magazine Master Certificate CIE is advantageous
  • Warehousing experience is advantageous.
