Job Description
The Head Office of Dis-Chem Pharmacies in Midrand is seeking a Recruitment Learner to join their team. The Learner will be responsible for the initial stage/step in the recruitment process, which will be to find and engage with qualified eligible individuals for a job role utilizing various sourcing methods.
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric
- HR Certificate or Diploma in Human Resources Management
- Minimum 0 – 1 year of human resources/ administration experience
- Computer Skills – Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Job Specification
- Place job postings on job boards, career websites, and social media, and monitor results.
- Proactively seek quality job candidates for current vacant positions using a variety of media, including digital platforms.
- Actively source and filter applicants in accordance with the relevant category or department’s standard operating procedure.
- Interact with possible candidates to determine the best match for the job and map them to talent pipelines.
- Write and send recruitment communications, such as emails, and communicate with possible applicants through professional networks and social media.
- Conduct complete background checks and MIE checks on each candidate, reporting any discrepancies to the team leader and flagging them to the appropriate internal recruiter.
- Make certain that the sourcing checklist and the necessary process are followed. Additionally, maintain team alignment and delivery.
- Ensure the accuracy of all activity in the sourcing database and talent pools.
- Collaborate with internal recruiters and HR to understand key position role requirements and candidate profiles.
- Enter referred candidates’ information into the Applicant Tracking System and link them to the appropriate positions.
- Assist in scheduling internal recruiter candidate interviews.
- Maintain and refresh the company’s candidate database and talent pool for current and future employment prospects.
- Inform candidates of the progress of their applications.
- Answer recruitment calls, reply to inquiries, and escalate recruitment issues as needed.
- When necessary, assist with recruiting administration.
- Observe Dis-Chem Policies and Procedures, as well as Standard Operating Procedures.
- Observe Health and Safety standards and rules.
