Job Description
Dis-Chem Pharmacies requires the services of a facilities cleaner who will be situated at our Midrand office. You will be in charge of the overall upkeep of the exterior Distribution Centre to provide a clean and tidy warehouse environment.
Requirements
- Matric/Grade 12
- 1 year of work experience in a comparable environment
- Understanding of powered blowers, brush cutters, lawn mowers, and pressure washers
Duties and Responsibilities
- Be in charge of lawn cutting, bin emptying, weed management, and leaf raking.
- Plant fresh trees, flowers, and plants as needed.
- Maintain the plant containers and baskets.
- Using specified equipment, remove trash and garbage from the Warehouse grounds.
- Plant seeds and water them as needed.
- Create diverse garden landscape designs and layouts.
- You avoid harm, always careful you use gardening equipment and hand tools correctly.
- Identify and use the appropriate equipment and hand tools for each plant and operation.
- Make certain that all equipment and hand tools are cleaned and kept in accordance with Dis-Chem regulations and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and tidy garden, shed, toilets, and bins.
- Check that all of your garden equipment is properly maintained and serviced.
- Perform basic maintenance and repairs on all garden machinery.
