Duties
- Provide hygiene and domestic services that are effective, efficient, and safe within the institution.
- Provide assistance to the Household Supervisor.
- Assist in the efficient use and operation of apparatus and equipment.
- Assist in the efficient handling of domestic tasks.
- Observe loyal service ethics.
Requirements
- Basic literacy and numeracy.
- Appropriate experience cleaning hospitals or health care facilities.
- Be able to lift and transport large equipment and supplies.
- Provide shift service on weekends, holidays, day and night, and rotate in different departments based on operational demands and requirements.
- Excellent communication abilities (reading, speaking, and writing) in at least two of the Western Cape’s three official languages.
