Job Description
Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) has an amazing opportunity in our Warehousing department. We are searching for two excellent people with suitable skills and experience for a Warehouse Operator position at Midrand Logistics.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Midrand Logistics Team Leader: Warehouse.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Execute warehouse activities in accordance with the provided plan while maintaining the needed operational efficiency criteria.
- Verify that all trucks/trailers are loaded on schedule and in full in accordance with the authorized plan.
- Verify that all SKUs adhere to the model stock layout.
- Ensure that stock is removed from the manufacturing lines so that there are no delays due to forklift availability.
- Verify that loads are picked on time and correctly.
- Maintain housekeeping standards
- Follow procedures
- Personal operational efficiency norms must be met.
- Maintain assets in accordance with normal operational procedures.
- Adhere to applicable stock management processes, including daily inventory counts.
- Verify that pallets are stretch wrapped in accordance with industry standards.
Skills, Experience, And Education
- Grade 12/Matric with Mathematics
- English proficiency is required (as the home language or at least a first additional language)
- 6- 12 months of necessary warehouse experience (loading and forklift operation)
- A valid forklift driver’s license is advantageous (if the candidate’s application is successful, will be trained)
- Clean criminal and credit checks
- Must be willing to work overtime and shifts.
