Clover has an excellent chance for unemployed teenagers to work as Merchandisers in the sales department. The program’s goal is to offer you with 12 months of job experience. Clover’s branches include Clayville, Bloemfontein, CDC Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, Queensburgh, and Port Shepstone. Clover is dedicated to empowering South African youngsters.

Requirements

  • South African Youth who are between the ages of 18 and 35
  • Matric qualification
  • Currently unemployed
  • Never participated in a YES Programme with another organization.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Control and order stock
    • Use proper stock control methods in-store and in backup locations where Clover stock is handled.
    • Control, minimize, and record returns in accordance with the store work plan.
    • Avoid out-of-stock situations at all costs and notify AM if they arise.
    • Place an accurate and timely order in accordance with the ordering tempo.
    • Maintain a clean and orderly shelf at all times.
    • Maintain adequate crate and equipment control in the store in accordance with corporate policy.
    • At all times, establish and maintain solid business relationships with store management, AM, HO, customers, and other merchandisers.
  • Apply correct shelve control in terms of indicated store and shelve plans
    • Pack shelves in accordance with the AM’s Store Flow and using fundamental merchandising standards.
    • Maintain the refrigerator in good working order at all times.
    • Maintain the stated shelf set in accordance with the provided plannos or the generic shelf set
    • Always keep a PI label on each product.
    • Place point-of-sale material at designated location and keep it there at all times.
    • Maintain appropriate administration
    • Utilize all available possibilities in the store to increase the visibility of products on the shelf.
  • Establish and maintain good business relationships 
    • Maintain constant contact with store management, AM, HO, customers, and fellow merchandisers.
