Clicks have a great learnership opportunity for unemployed youth of South Africa to complete a learnership program and become pharmacy assistants.
Job Description
The learner must complete a National Certificate Pharmacy Assistance Learnership Programme successfully and also a Pharmacist Assistance Further Education and Training Certificate from the Pharmacy Healthcare Academy that is accredited.
This learnership program is well structured and it includes both academic and practical components and leads to a qualification on the National Qualification Framework (NQF).
The Learnership Training Contracts must be completed successfully in a registered Clicks Pharmacy under the supervision of an approved instructor.
The learner must successfully complete the competency assessment and also submit a Portfolio of Evidence. Leaner must attend the required training interventions.
The learner will be required to provide support to the healthcare team in one of Click’s Pharmacies, under the supervision of a qualified Pharmacist and within the legal boundaries specified by the South African Pharmacy Council.
Requirements
- Applicant must have matric/Grade 12 of a minimum of 50% in Mathematics or 60% in Mathematical Literacy, 50% in English, and a Pass in Physical Sciences or Life Science.

Successful applicants will be expected to sign a work-back agreement and work for Clicks as a qualified Pharmacist Assistant for a minimum of the length of the learnership period.
