Position : Cashier/Shop assistant

Job Description

To ensure that cash is handled safely at all times.
All operational activities at the point of sale must be completed in a timely and efficient manner.
All merchandising and general housekeeping duties must be carried out and maintained efficiently in accordance with store and visual merchandise standards..
To inform customers about promotions in order to boost sales and guarantee customers “feel good and pay less”.
To actively advertise the Clicks’ Clubcard and sign up new members in order to meet the club card usage goals.
To live and drive the company values in order to support the Group’s vision of becoming the customer’s first choice health and beauty retailer..
To keep up-to-date on products, ranges, promotions, and events so that you can always give customers the right information.
To provide excellent customer service by serving as a brand ambassador, being visible, and offering friendly and professional service.
Must do the processing of Clubcard rewards while maintaining high standards of accuracy when scanning merchandise and collecting payment for purchased goods.

Requirements

Must have Grade 12 with Maths 50% and English 50%
Must have experience in a customer-facing role within a retail/FMCG store operations environment
