Responsibilities
- Supporting rates traders in the bonds and rates arena.
- Preparing and evaluating risk and other reports for the desk.
- Monitoring market moves and providing opinion.
- Learning and understanding how to manage risk and set prices across asset types.
- Analyze macroeconomic statistics and market trends.
- Engage and communicate with sales traders and operations to ensure that processes are done effectively.
- Participating at morning meetings. Ensuring that processes and procedures are current and relevant to job responsibilities.
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Driven and energetic individual with a passion for financial markets.
- Have a drive to excel in a fixed-income position.
- Thrive in a fast-paced atmosphere and love developing relationships with clients.
- Strong interest in fixed-income products.
