Job Description
We have great openings in our Manufacturing & Technical department at Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA). We are searching for young, talented people for Packaging Learnership positions around Elgin. The successful candidate will report to the Training Controller directly.
Key Purpose
This qualification will contribute to the learner’s overall growth in the food and beverage packaging environment by offering recognition, further mobility, and portability in the field of beverage manufacturing and fast-moving consumer goods. Learners will complete the NQF Level 3 Learnership National Certificate in Food and Beverage Packaging.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
The learner will be exposed to:
- Bottling processes and procedures
- Safety and housekeeping standards
- Quality tests and specifications
- Food handling practices

- QUALIFICATIONS
- Grade 12 with Mathematics (NOT Mathematics Literacy) and physical sciences passed with 40%
- Two South African Languages passed with 40%
- Must not have previously completed the same qualification/learnership at another company or organization
- OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Must be a South African Citizen
- Must be Employment Equity candidate
- Must have been unemployed at the time of appointment
- Must be between 18-35 years of age
- Candidates must be willing to commit for 12 months learnership program
- General
- A learner embarking on this Qualification needs to obtain a minimum value of 120 credits to qualify for the Qualification; this learnership runs over a period of 12 months.
