The ARC- Tropical and Subtropical Crops (ARC-TSC) seeks to appoint highly skilled, experienced, and dynamic person to the following position at Nelspruit, Mpumalanga.
Job Description
- following farm management’s instructions when it comes to farm operations.
- Utilization and upkeep of provided tools and equipment.
- Performing manual labor as directed by superiors.
- Following the guidelines for occupational health and safety.
Requirements
- Exposure to the fruit growing environment and/or grade 10.
- An additional benefit will be having prior experience collecting tropical and sub-tropical fruits.
- Knowledge of fundamental farming methods.
- Fundamental understanding of how to operate farm machinery and equipment by hand, such as brush cutters and chainsaws.
- Strong communication abilities.
- Good knowledge of safety and health protocols.
- Being prepared to work in inclement weather.
