Job Description

The successful candidate will be required to provide a reliable and courteous transportation service to staff and participants, with safety being a top priority; to provide a communication link between participants and staff; to operate and maintain assigned vehicles; and to keep vehicles and staff records.
Requirements
- Code 10 driver’s licence
- Matric or similar job experience.
- PDP (Professional Driver’s Permit) with a defensive driving course is advantageous.
- At least two years of driving experience.
- Communication abilities and local language proficiency
Responsibilities
- Transport employees to and from clinics and offices.
- Transport employees to and from office functions organized on weekends and public holidays.
- Assist with event equipment setup and packing.
- Collect and transport equipment, documentation, etc. as needed.
- Maintain accurate demographic records for all clients that use the transportation service.
- Keep track of kms traveled and manage site visits in a diary.
- Report any car accidents or damage promptly.
- Keep the car fueled and tidy at all times.
- Ensure that the vehicle is routinely repaired and well maintained (e.g., tyres, brake pads, etc.) and that it satisfies general safety standards.
- Prepare accident and incident reports as needed.
- Compliance with traffic regulations.
- Defensive driving was practised.
- Adhere to Anova policies and procedures.
- There have been few or no complaints about vehicle operation.
- When not carrying persons or products, provide additional services as asked by management.
- Assist with photocopying and distribution of documents Assist with any office unforeseen tasks.
- Assist in the collection and delivery of products and materials.
