To participate in the program, you must be physically fit.

Job Description
Our eighteen-month Mining Learnership Programme is an enrichment program for the community on Trackless Mobile Machinery (TMM) and will allow you to build skills in surface mining through classroom and on-the-job training.
This program will help you maximize your potential and offer you a customized plan to help you make a difference in the future.
We will assist you in discovering your true capability and developing your abilities as a prospective Drilling or Blasting Assistant and/or various Trackless Mobile Equipment as you go through your mining learnership curriculum.
Qualifications
- Completed Grade 12 or Technical N3 with Mathematics Literacy or Mathematics. Physical Science will be useful.
- A valid South African driver’s license is required.
- Pass medical-job-fit exams (RFA) with flying colors
- Possession or ability to obtain a valid Sishen VTS / DOVER)
- After successfully completing VTS (Dover) / RFA and earning a Fitness Certificate, the mining learnership will begin.
Additional information
- A monthly stipend/allowance for the duration of the 18-24 month skills program, which includes experiential learning.
- MQA Certificate following competency declaration to supplement skills
- PPE stands for Personal Protective Equipment.
