We are searching for a highly organized and customer-focused Reservationist to join our team at ANEW Hotel Centurion. The Reservationist will be in charge of managing reservations, advising customers, and ensuring that booking processes run smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have good communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong desire to provide excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • Grade 12
  • +- 2 years of reservationist experience
  • Working knowledge of OPERA Cloud
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, as well as telephone communication skills.
  • Excellent grasp of the English language is required, as is multilingualism.
  • Strong organizational abilities, time management, and attention to detail are required.
  • Knowledge of computer applications, such as reservation systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Work accurately in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting.
  • Excellent customer service abilities.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Work on weekends, holidays, and in a variety of shifts.
  • Must be self-motivated and capable of working independently.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Handle phone, email, and in-person customer queries and reservations.
  • For all inquiries, written communication and correspondence are required.
  • Assist consumers in selecting the appropriate services or accommodations based on their requirements.
  • Maintain correct and up-to-date reservation data, including but not limited to attaching travel agent coupons to bookings, guest profiles, and so on.
  • Confirm and change reservations as clients want, including but not limited to following up, securing guarantees, and releasing all booked reservations.
  • Inform customers about rates, availability, and special packages.
  • Payments are processed and receipts are issued.
  • Managing OTA Reservations
  • Inventory balancing
  • Work with other team members to provide a consistent client experience.
  • Resolve client issues and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and well-organized work environment.
  • Additional responsibilities as requested
  • Getting ready for group bookings, such as making rooming lists and collecting fees, etc.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures.
