Job Summary
ANEW HOTEL HATFIELD is searching for a Cook to join their winning team.
In a busy restaurant and function kitchen, prepare and distribute high-quality cuisine, desserts, and pastry products. In addition, you must be able to complete a diverse list of food preparation tasks for the kitchen on a daily basis in accordance with the hotel’s standards.
Requirements
- Matric
- Tertiary education would be advantageous.
- +2 years of Chef experience
- Capability to work in a fast-paced culinary environment
Duties and Responsibilities
- To acquire an accurate count, make sure the goods are well packed.
- Assist in inspecting and maintaining daily stock par levels for refrigerators, freezers, dry stores, consumables, and operating equipment.
- Operating equipment must be inspected and securely stored.
- The products utilized must always be of the highest quality and must be rotated and received by Hotel policy.
- Stock requisitions must be checked against actual issues, and any inconsistencies must be immediately reported to the individual who ordered/issued them.
