The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties while reporting to the Organizational Secretary :
- Overseeing the reception area to ensure it is always clean.
- Handling a wide range of administrative support tasks, such as:
- Professionally answering the phone.
Phone calls are screened and rerouted as needed.
Receiving visitors and requiring them to sign the register for security reasons.
arranging meeting and/or conference venues/rooms.
Sorting and distributing mail is a job that requires a lot of effort.
Providing general assistance to internal and external stakeholders in order to improve the organization’s image.
Printing and photocopying documents; and taking notes/minutes during CEO Office meetings.
- Professionally answering the phone.
- Handling ad hoc administrative tasks.
- Providing outstanding customer service.
- Assisting with administrative duties prior to and during governance meetings, workshops, and conferences.
Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification.
- A one-year post-matriculation office administration certificate is required.
- Two to three years of relevant experience is required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Active listening abilities.
- Interpersonal abilities.
- Client and service orientation; and the ability to multitask.
