Job Position: Radiation Protection Learnerships

The Necsa Learning Academy (NLA) offers a Radiation Protection (RP) learnership program. The initiative will be in effect for a year.
Radiation Protection (NQF Level 4) will be the topic of the learnership. There will be theoretical as well as practical training. Learners will be given the opportunity to work in Necsa Group facilities to gain the essential on-the-job experience to prepare them for employment.
Learnership in Radiation Protection (NQF Level 4)
Contract length: 12 months
Programme Outcome
Learners should be able to:
- Communicate about the hazards of radiation and contamination in the workplace, as well as basic radiation protection, after successfully completing this course.
- Monitor radiation and pollution in accordance with defined requirements;
- Adhere to radiation protective measures indicated in supplied procedures; and
- Manage your own workplace relationships for maximum efficiency.
Requirements
- Must have a grade 12 with Mathematics and Physical Science. Applicant must be between the ages of 18 and 35.
- South African citizenship is required.
