Job Description

Duties

  • Clean the windows, floors, walls, and carpets.
  • Emptying all trash, and cleaning toilets and any other place in the clinic under the supervision of a supervisor.
  • linen should be changed and washed
  • Clean, dust, and polish office furniture, consulting rooms, and corridors/passages.
  • Dishes, cutlery, glasses, and utensils must be washed.
  • Maintaining and using a variety of cleaning supplies in the workplace.
  • Additional duties as directed by the supervisor are expected.
  • As required, provide tea and refreshments.
  • Use and operate cleaning equipment and chemicals.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the cleaning materials and equipment.
  • Report any defects that you find.

Requirements

  • A Minimum of Grade 10 (authentic School report) or ABET Level 4 or Relevant NQF level 2

Skills

  • Able of reading and writing
  • Good interpersonal relationships
  • Ability to collaborate with others
  • Batho Pele Principles Knowledge, Patients’ Rights, and Six Ministerial Priorities
  • Be able to provide service under pressure.
  • Employment experience in the public sector or in a cleaning environment will be advantageous.
  • Be prepared to work flexible hours and shifts (nights, weekends, and public holidays)
