Capricorn TVET College invites suitable individuals to apply for its Internship intake for 2023.
Job Description
This internship position demands someone who is dedicated, detail-oriented, and active, and who can manage several responsibilities.
The duties that inter will perform include distributing, drafting, and pitching speeches , media alerts, news releases, and other stories, editing and format photos, and videos for the website and, college social media.
Will also update social media platforms regularly and the College website, media relations, and graphic design prepare reports weekly, and manage the digital assets.
The candidate must keep in touch with the supervisor on a regular basis and, collaborate on new ideas with staff, tools for communications and public Relations and directions, event coordination, administrative support duties as delegated, and the other communications.
Requirements
- Matric/Grade 12
- Degree in: Media Studies, Communication, Public Relations, or Journalism.
Skills
- Must have excellent oral and written communication
- interpersonal skills
- Microsoft Office apps proficiency
- Excellent visual abilities
- Experience with designing materials for online and print.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and InDesign is highly desired
- Understanding of the fundamentals of communication and public relations
- Knowledge of the social media platforms as well as strategies
- Crisis-solving and Crisis analysis
